The Chinese smartphone company, “Xiaomi” is reported to launch their brand new tablet named, “Xiaomi Mi Pad 5” in the Indian Market. If the sources are to be believed then, it is expected that the tablet might release to Indian Customers in the month of August 2021. Ever since the news of the upcoming tablet has broken out, there are numerous leakers and tipsters who are hinting at the various spectacular features of the tablet. As per the tipsters, the tablet will be powered by Snapdragon 870 Soc processor and will come with a 120Hz display refresh rate.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Specifications & Features
The new “Xiaomi Mi Pad 5” was recently identified by the Digital Chat Station on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). As per the tipster, the new tablet is a successor of Mi Pad 4, which was released earlier in the year 2018. Besides, as we have previously mentioned, the tablet will be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC and will come with a display refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition to this, it has been reported that the Pad 5 will come with a fingerprint side-mounted scanner.
The new Mi Pad 5 of Xiaomi will come with a display screen of 10.97 inches with a screen resolution of 2560*1600 pixels and a sampling rate of 240Hz. Also, the tablet will come in two variants. The first variant will come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC while the lower version of Pad 5 will come with a Snapdragon 860 chipset. Besides, the tablet will be available in two different storage variants. The first storage variant will include a RAM of 8GB RAM with an internal storage of 256 GB.
While the second storage variant will include 12GB RAM and internal storage of 512GB. Besides, it has been reported that there is another top model that will come with RAM of 16GB and onboard storage of 1TB. Moreover, as per a famous tipster, the tablet will also come up with a couple of accessories which includes a keyboard that will multiply as the tablet case. In addition to this, a pen stylus will also come along with the tablet in a cylindrical housing.
Besides, the Pad 5 of Mi is also listed on EEC and others and is reported to be running MIUI out of the box. Earlier, the deputy director of Xiaomi, Xi Jieyun has also stated that the new tablet of Mi will ship with an MIUI version. The tipster has also given a brief idea of the design of the new tablet. According to them, the Mi Pad 5 will come with a square module camera on the top left side corner of the tablet. Moreover, the case is reported to be a cylindrical cutout that seems to be carrying a pen stylus.

As of now, no information has been shared either from the sides of the company or from the sides of the tipster, regarding the price of the “Xiaomi Mi Pad 5”, however, it has been reported that the tablet will release for the Indian customers by the beginning of August.
