India’s popular cricketer Yusuf Pathan announced the retirement on Friday from all formats of cricket, Yusuf took the support of social media to share this news. The news was announced just after the fast bowler R Vinay Kumar announced his retirement. Yusuf Pathan is a well-known cricketer of Indian history and has played lots of matches. He is also an all-rounder cricket.

Cricketer Yusuf Pathan has played 57 ODI Matches and 22 T20Is for the Indian cricket team since he started playing in the cricket team in 2007. He was a part of the Indian cricket team when India won ICC T20 World Cup 2007, and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
Yusuf made his debut in 2001/02. He was a right-handed batsman and also, right armed bowler. After him, his younger brother Irfan Pathan came to the Indian cricket team. His excellent performance in the Deodhar Trophy 2007 and Inter-state domestic Twenty20 competition held in April 2007. He became more famous in a match against Pakistan. In that match, he did an opening and scored 15 runs.
He shared a post on an Instagram account and wrote,” I thank my family, friends, fans, teams, coaches, and the whole country wholeheartedly for all the support and love. #retirement”. Also, he shared a written page where he wrote about his team and the precious time. A hard-hitting middle batsman and a handy spinner, Yusif Pathan scored 810 ODI runs and 236 T20 Runs for the Indian Cricket Team. He took over 46 wickets in International cricket.
The cricketer wrote,” The time has come today for me to put a full stop to this innings of my life. I officially announce retirement from all forms of the game”. He added,” After winning two world cups for India and lifting Sachin Tendulkar on my shoulders were some of the best moments of my career”.
Yusuf played 100 matches and scored 4825 runs and took 201 wickets. In the list of A cricket, the batsman gathers 4797 runs and got 124 wickets.
Cricketer Yusuf was the most effective as a power hitter in T20s matches. In the T20s matches, Yusuf scored 4852 runs at the strike rate of 139.34, and took 99 wickets.
Yusuf Pathan played last time in an ODI against the team South Africa at Johannesburg in March 2012. Also, he has a record of the fastest 50 runs in 18 balls in October 2015 in the Ranji Trophy.
