An accident happened at the Hong Kong Sprint where a distasteful collapse has happened by which all the involved jockeys were admitted under the supervision of paramedics. The accident was too harsh and dangerous by which many of the jockeys fall from the Sprint and gets injured and later, taken by the paramedics to give them the treatment for recovering from the life-threatening injuries and to recover them speedily. The emergency services rushed to the spot after the accident happens along with the crews and organisers of the Sprint and rescue all the jockeys who were involved in this harsh incident. In this incident and accident, Kyle Hewitson was the first jockey who fall from the harness when his horse named Amazing Star allegedly gave way and after that Karis Teetan carrying Naboo Attack with Australian Zac Purton carrying Lucky Patch and also Yuichi Fukunaga carrying Pixie Knight were the jockeys racing behind Hewitson on the arc. All the jockeys got seriously injured on their body because the accident was too harsh and dangerous.

After the accident, the Hong Kong Jockey Club established that all who were affected are premeditated and all of them were taken to the hospital for treating them best under the observation of many doctors.
