Zaheer Khan a great cricket will going to announce his retirement or Bid Adieu from International Cricket today. We all know that this speedster of Cricket named Zaheer Khan is in passing through injuries from past few years and is moving in and out from that frequently and because of that he was unable to give regular performance and now he decided to announce his retirement from cricket.
Zaheer Khan played for the national last in 2014 against Kiwis. In other hand the remarkable one of his performance was that one when he took 7 wickets against Delhi Daredevils in the latest IPL season.
37- year old Zaheer Khan played 200 ODI’s, 92 Test Matches and 17 International T20. Because of the recurrent of injuries and such situation he was unable to perform regularly from past 3-4 years.
Zaheer Khan played a major role for team India in World Cup 2015. Zaheer Khan is fourth highest wicket-taker in longer version amongst Indians after Anil Kumble (619), Kapil Dev (434) and Harbhajan Singh (417).
After informing IPL Chairman and BCCI Functionary Rajeev Shukla about his decision to get retire from Cricket Rajeev Shukla tweeted “Zaheer khan to announce his retirement today My best wishes to him for post retirement carrier (sic),”.
