Alivi Swu was from Vihuto village in Niuland district earlier while Kitoka Yepthomi lived in Pihekhu village in the Aquqhnaqua area. The man was so depressed for the past few days as he loves Alivi so much but she refused his proposal, and then on around 5 AM on this Saturday morning, he decided to kill Alivi and he did, after that he also killed himself by shooting him with a firearm at 5:30 AM approximately.

As said by Rothihu Tetseo, Commissioner of Police of Dimapur, in his statement, Kitoka Yepthomi, the one who did this terrific murder, hired a taxi from his village to Kiyevi village. After reaching the residence of Alivi, he knocked on the door, and when Alivi came to open the door, he shot her dead with a .22 pistol. After the reassurance, he shot himself with a gun and killed himself. Both the dead bodies were lying there with so much blood there.
According to the reports, the taxi driver was waiting in the taxi for Yepthomi, when he heard the sound of a gunshot, he came outside the taxi and run towards the sound where he found both bodies. He got shocked after seeing this view and immediately informed the nearby villagers. The investigation is still ongoing and police are trying to get more evidence to come to a conclusion.
