Finally, the wait is over and the much-anticipated examination of the Punjab Police application form has been released by the recruitment and the vacancy of Sub Inspector and Constable in Technical and Support Service (TSS) Cadre in Punjab Police has extended by the recruitment drive till 10th October 2021. Previously, the last date of the examination was decided to be on 29th September 2021 but after getting the heavy demands from the candidates the recruitment drive extended the date for applying on the examination to 10th October 2021. This decision to the extension of the date is decided to give one more chance to the candidates who still do not apply to the examination and the drive releases the form for a total post of 2340 Constable in the TASS cadre. Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria & Age:
Talking about the age limit of the candidate for applying on the examination then the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not extended than 28 years. There is some relaxation for the reserved candidates. The candidates who want to apply for the examination have a degree of Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the field such as Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, Communications, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Applications, Data Sciences, Computer Sciences and allied departments.
Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 Selection Process, Salary & Physical Standards:
The selection process for the candidates in the posts will be via a direct recruitment process and the selection of the applicants will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT) Test 1, Computer Based Test (CBT) Test 2 along with Physical Measurement Test, Screening Test and Document Scrutiny. The government decided the salary structure for the posts at Rs. 19900 for Level-2 and the physical standard for the applicants will be the height for a male is 5 feet 4 inches while for the female applicants it is decided to be at 5 feet.

The fee structure for the Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 is decided to be for the General category is Rs. 1500, for the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) at Rs. 700, while for the EWS/SC/ST and Backward Classes of Punjab State only is at Rs. 800.
